Eleventh Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka College of Veterinary Surgeons

The 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka College of Veterinary Surgeons was held on June 13, 2026, at the Auditorium of the Institute of Continuing Education, Department of Animal Production and Health, Gatambe.

The agenda included:

• The President’s Address and congratulatory notes on recent achievements

• Confirmation of the minutes from the 8th AGM

• Discussions on professional matters of relevance

• Reports from the Treasurer and General Secretary, followed by reviews and deliberations

A key highlight of the meeting was the approval of a resolution to introduce a unique membership registration number system for all Members and Fellows of the College. This initiative is expected to strengthen governance, ensure continuity, and prevent duplication in official records.
